_Welcome Inn is a dynamic community centre that dares to imagine that there is a different and more vibrant path forward for ALL members of our community. Together with the community, Welcome Inn works to alleviate poverty, loneliness and marginalization—challenges that our community members face on a daily basis—by offering supportive relationships, promoting wellness and providing capacity-building opportunities. Our four program areas include: Children's Programs, Senior's Programs, Food Access Initiatives and Community Programs. All four program areas are designed to improve eight dimensions of wellness, namely emotional, physical, social, financial, intellectual, occupational, environmental and spiritual wellness._

**Position Description**:
In keeping with Welcome Inn’s vision and core values, our Program Integration Manager will reassess measurable outcomes for all programs at Welcome Inn now that the pandemic has subsided, and work to better integrate our existing and expanded programs with one another. Our Program Integration Manager will work collaboratively with the Executive Director to solidify our programs fiscally and ensure that our ongoing work in the community continues.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
Work collaboratively with the Executive Director to:

- Help Welcome Inn transition successfully out of the pandemic and firmly establish all the programs that were expanded as a result of the still-growing need in our community.
- Participate in the development of our annual budget, and work collaboratively with the Executive Director to ensure programs are functioning within their fiscal limitations.

Provide primary leadership, driving Welcome Inn’s vision forward by:

- Leading program-related strategic planning session(s), together with all the staff at Welcome Inn and its Board of Directors.
- Conducting reviews of all programs, in partnership with the Executive Director (who will continue to be the direct supervisor of all program coordinators), and preparing any final reports required to meet grant expectations.
- Reassessing the measurable outcomes for all programs, taking pandemic-related expansions into account, and creating new Success Equations for each program at Welcome Inn.
- Hosting focus groups and community consultations, connecting with volunteers and community members within the north end of Hamilton, as a way to ensure all new Success Equations reflect our equity and inclusion goals and celebrate the diversity found within our community.
- Exploring new ways to integrate existing programs with one another, increasing shared learning and improving the level of support that we are able to offer community members.
- Seeking out new grants that may be available to fund existing and/or expanded programs impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and rising inflation.
- Explore possible partnerships with other organizations, either in the north end or in Hamilton’s city centre, that might be able to advance Welcome Inn’s community development goals.

Additional duties:

- Manage day-to-day building and program concerns, troubleshooting with program coordinators and volunteers
- Update operational policies, including our Fire & Safety Plan, to reflect best practices learned throughout the pandemic.
- Manage the ongoing promotion of all our program areas, including further establishing relationships with The North End Breezes and managing all social media platforms.
- Perform any other related duties as required by the Executive Director.

**Qualifications**:

- Applicable degree or diploma in a related field, preferably a post-graduate degree
- 2 or more years of experience in the not-for-profit sector or community-based research.
- Previous experience developing measurable outcomes for programs and/or leading strategic planning sessions.
- Proven planning, organizational and implementation skills.
- Sound knowledge of different community development philosophies, including Asset-Based Community Development
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Current criminal record check.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
