**As our HSE Administrator, you will be responsible to**:

- Manage CDN Controls Ltd.’s safety management system: Audit Upload and update employee tickets, policies, procedures, and online training
- Upload new employee records and tickets to the Safety Drive and safety management system
- Collect Job Scope, Lead Indicator, Pre-Job Hazard Assessments, and Behavior Observation cards/paperwork, sort them by date and LSD, and scan and file them electronically
- Track employee safety certificates for expiry and work with employees and their Manager to book recertification courses
- Ensure all employees and contractors have the mandatory training required for their specific jobs, if training is required ensure the training is scheduled and completed
- Order and track all PPE and maintain up-to-date records
- Complete new employee safety orientations
- Assist in the Preparation of safety meetings as needed
- Complete monthly fire extinguisher and CDN house inspections
- Maintain first aid kits, eyewash stations, SDS binders, and Emergency Response Plans
- Participate in and take notes at the monthly Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee meetings
- Pull expired abstracts from the registry as required files and document
- Assist with building forms and or auditing internal policies as needed
- Gas monitor tracking and bump log maintenance
- Monitor Contractor Documents/Compliance

**Qualifications Required**:

- Post-secondary education in Health and safety would be considered an asset
- Minimum two years of office administrative support with a strong background in Health & Safety
- Knowledge of safe working practices and procedures
- Act in accordance with Health & Safety Legislation and Practices and CDN Controls Ltd.’s safety policies and practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate initiative when working alone
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize projects, tasks, and deadlines
