Detailed Job Description:

HSE Integrated is seeking a skilled instructor to deliver and engage students in instructor-led classroom training of intercompany courses, and industrial specific.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training in group and/or in individual hands-on sessions, while demonstrating an in-depth knowledge and learning experience of course materials.
  • Foster strong relationships with adult learners and clients as it relates to the participants experience before, during and upon completion of the course.
  • Adhere to guidelines governing the preparation and delivery of course content, practical scenarios and document control as found and/or presented in the; The instructor course certification process (TTT) HSE Integrated and third-party training policy and administrative manuals.
  • Perform scheduled inventory of supplies and/or assets of training materials and maintenance of the equipment and classroom environment.
  • Provide feedback on course content/delivery and methods to improve the overall participant experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient with MS Office applications and ability to operate and maintain classroom assets (ex. audio visual equipment).
  • Demonstrates attention to details with focus on overall implementation and follow-through of assigned tasks.
  • Professional with clear communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate professionalism while representing HSE Integrated (attire, language, conduct, attitude, and behavior).
  • Previous industry related experience.
  • Pre-existing certifications to instruct courses (ex. H2S Alive) must be valid at time of application this includes course audits, suspension status with provider(s). Copies of original tickets will be required.
  • Valid Clean Driver License.
  • Successful completion of the HSE Train the Trainer upon hire.
  • HSE Driving program.

Required Certifications & Training:

  • H2S Alive.
  • Standard 1st - Aid / CPR.
  • Successful completion with proof an instructional auditing of the following Energy Safety Canada (ESC) courses: Firewatch, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry and Monitor, Coordinator / instructional training.
  • Additional training and certifications may be necessary to meet client specifications.
