**Job Title**:Finance Administrative Assistant

We are seeking the help of a professional person with a strong work ethic to join our busy team This role is primarily administrative, however there is a high level of client engagement. We are needing someone who is enthusiastic and brings a “can-do” positive attitude.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer the telephone and direct incoming calls to the appropriate person.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies.
- Keep the office clean & orderly.
- Overseeing client accounts.
- Keeping the advisors organized, and ensuring documents are prepared.
- Creating, sending, and following up on trades.
- Updating client portfolios with 100% accuracy.
- Completing online trades.
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing documentation and marketing activities.
- Provide ongoing service and support to clients.
- Ensure client information is accurate and current.
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- The ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm to work with others in a small office environment.
- Degree in Business Administration or Finance would be an asset.
- Knowledge of financial services products such as mutual funds, segregated funds, life insurance, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Good organizational skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented.
- Excellent time management skills.

**Information**:

- Job Type: Full time
- Hours 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 2pm on Fridays.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Peterborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
