**How will you make an impact?**
Acts as a liaison between the client and Patheon’s internal Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS) organization to ensure that all needs are met concerning both project budgets and timelines.
**What will you do?**
Project Management:
- Manages active medium projects with mínimal assistance from Management.
- Resolves project issues and resource constraints within the team and with moderate assistance.
- Facilitates positive team member interactions and manages conflict with mínimal assistance.
- Establishes/practices standard project reporting procedures to client and management (i.e. minutes, agendas).
Client Management:
- Manages client satisfaction by managing client expectations efficiently with mínimal assistance from Management.
- Maintains very good relationship with client and grow it positively.
Product Development:
- Makes recommendations on drug development and regulatory guidelines to client.
Business Management:
- Plans, monitors and ensures completion of all activities outlined in the client quote for each project.
- Prepares amendments for changes of scope in a timely manner.
- Creates and maintains client timelines.
- Create and maintain deliverables within ChangePoint
- Contributes to Unit monthly forecasts by managing project Estimated Monetary Value (EMV) and tracking reporting of revenue Risks and Opportunities.
- Identifies opportunities to improve performance of PDS PM Department with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness and supports
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to drive the performance of the PDS PM Department, the site and the Network (as appropriate)
People Management:
- Supports onboarding and training for new hires within the PDS PM Department
**How will you get here?**
**Education**
- Minimum Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).
**Experience**
- Minimum 5 years industry experience.
**Equivalency**:
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
One of the following:
- Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Masters of Science (M.Sc.), Doctorate (Ph. D.) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Minimum 5 years product development experience.
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
- Minimum 5 years client management experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in managing a department in pharmaceutical industry.
- Well organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple project deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and influence.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both in a team environment as well as independently as required.
- Demonstrated commitment to our fundamental principles of Integrity, Respect, & Excellence.
- Proficiency in the English Language.
