Canada’s fastest growing full-service Performance Marketing Agency, located in Toronto’s historic Distillery District, is looking to fill a full time Junior Programmatic Media Buyer role.

We are a full-service performance media buying agency that specialize in direct response solutions that help our clients reach Canadian and international consumers.

**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**

**Campaign Management**:

- Assist in the planning, setup, and execution of programmatic media campaigns across DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, Amazon, etc.).
- Monitor and optimize campaigns daily to meet performance goals (CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.).
- Troubleshoot underperforming campaigns and propose actionable recommendations.

**Audience Targeting & Segmentation**:

- Leverage first-party and third-party data to create precise audience targeting strategies.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to analyze user behavior and refine audience segmentation.

**Performance Reporting**:

- Prepare and deliver performance reports with actionable insights to internal stakeholders or clients.
- Maintain clear documentation of campaign optimizations and performance improvements.

**Platform Expertise**:

- Stay updated on new features and trends across The Trade Desk and other DSPs.
- Test and implement advanced DSP functionalities, including custom bidding, inventory packages, and creative optimizations.

**Collaboration & Communication**:

- Present weekly reports to client.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
- Coordinate with external vendors, publishers, and ad tech partners as needed.

**Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

**Experience**:

- 1-2 years of experience in programmatic media buying or digital advertising.
- Hands-on experience with DSPs such as The Trade Desk (preferred) or other platforms like Amazon.

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
- Familiarity with campaign measurement tools and methodologies, including attribution modeling and viewability metrics.
- Basic understanding of ad tech concepts, such as real-time bidding, CPM, and ad exchanges.

Attributes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications in The Trade Desk Edge Academy or similar training programs.
- Experience working with creative assets in dynamic creative optimization (DCO).
- Knowledge of audience insights platforms such as Nielsen or Comscore.

**Compensation**

Kingstar Media offers a highly competitive compensation package including vacation time off, stat holidays off, summer hours, and birthdays off
