**Background**
Canada’s fastest growing full-service Performance Marketing Agency, located in Toronto’s historic Distillery District, is looking to fill a full time Junior Media Buyer role. This role will allow an individual to develop in-depth knowledge of the direct response media buying market.
**Position Summary**
With a high level of speed and accuracy, the successful incumbent will be responsible for media executions along with assisting Media Managers with various media reports and evaluations. You must have the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, contacts, and colleagues to create a seamless, efficient process and successful outcome.
Effective time management, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude are essential for success in this role
**Responsibilities**
- Plan and build media buys/proposals within campaign parameters.
- Execute any revisions to media plans.
- Assist Media Managers with media plans, bookings & reporting.
- Using data and metrics, analyze reports for station/campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization of media campaigns.
- Prepare campaign, market, attribution & trend analyses.
- Internally collaborate with all team members to execute efficiently.
- Assist with any billing discrepancies or queries.
- Support and assist Media Managers directly to ensure client deliverables are being met.
- Compile network rates, avails, and post-reports.
- Assist with external bookings and internal TV & Radio Media inventory.
- Assist internal team members with last minute inquiries, requests, and reconciliations.
- Liaise with all other departments on questions and concerns.
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
- Post secondary education (Advertising/Media background is an asset)
**Experience**:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to prioritize time efficiently and work within deadlines provided
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Ability to be proactive in terms of assisting the team, problem solving, multitasking, etc

- Flexible and adaptable to meet the requirements of our evolving business needs.
- Comfort with working extra hours.
Desired:
- Experience in the media industry
- Experience with media research, planning & buying tools (Nlogic, Google Analytics, Radius, Trade Desk, etc )
**Compensation**
Kingstar Media offers a highly competitive compensation package including vacation time off, stat holidays off, summer hours, and birthdays off
