Reporting directly to the Regional Director, General Manager will ideally reside in the **Greater metropolitan area of the Capital Region**. You will be a key member, and will be required to **travel frequently to both locations.**

**General Manager Key Responsibilities**:
- Resolve issues and complaints arising from the operations between customers and the company.
- Accountable for all aspects relating to the work of the Operations Managers and the Sales Managers.
- Coordinates day-to-day operations of the RAM Doors and The Door Company locations.
- Ensure a process is in place for proper hiring, training, and evaluation of employee performance.
- Ensure that sales targets are met by creating strategies, providing support and follow up on results.
- Prepare sales tracking and reporting tools for Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reporting to the Regional Director.
- Accountable for all aspects of financial management - cost control, inventory, sales, and margins tracking to budget.
- Create and maintain solid relationships with key clients.
- Help staff on duties, fill temporary gaps or assist the team where needed.
- Ensure that all corporate policies are fulfilled (e.g., health and safety).
- A leader toward a healthy and positive workplace to achieve an employee retention rate above 90%.
- Develop strategies for attracting and finding talent to ensure a full new hire onboarding process is in place and being executed.
- Achieve or exceed budgeted top-line revenue, gross profit, and net income.
**The General Manager we are looking for**:
- College diploma or University degree in business
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Post-secondary courses in business or related studies an asset
- Very good organizational skills
- Hard-working and dependable
- Outstanding positive leadership skills
- Needs high speed and stable internet connection at home since,work from home canbe required
