Please note that the location for this position is Toronto. This position requires a hybrid working arrangement of approx. 3 days/week in the office

**What will you do?**
- Advise and support internal partners with governance and due diligence related to corporate foundations and global community investments
- Manage the approval process for Community Investment proposals, including project management and content development and review
- Oversee a portfolio of community investment partners, including budget and relationship management
- Lead the development and maintenance of a global training and development framework for community investment stewards across Canada, US, UK, EU, Caribbean and APAC
- Conduct regular reviews of community investments to ensure alignment with policy and make informed recommendations for enhanced controls
- Partner with colleagues in Finance and Systems on cross-functional projects that enable operational efficiencies
- Support with the operationalization of strategic initiatives to increase the impact of community investments globally

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- 4+ years of experience, including in a social impact, financial services, or not-for-profit role
- Undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field
- Strategic, critical thinking, analytical
- Attention to detail, writing and review skills
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to understand business, technical and governance processes

**Nice-to-have**
- Experience working in a large, matrix organization
- Self-starter who can prioritize for impact, manage numerous initiatives at once, and roll-up sleeves to deliver
- Project Management Certification
- Budget management experience
- Understanding of corporate foundation models in Canada and the U.S.
