Osmow's Shawarma - NEW LOCATION is looking for a Grill Cook to join our team in Vaughan, ON.

**241 Trade Valley Drive, Vaughan ON (HWY 50 & Trade Valley Dr)**

The Grill Cook is responsible for preparing food and beverages to the standards set by Osmow's Shawarma - NEW LOCATION's culinary team. The Grill Cook will follow recipes and follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Follow the preparation list for all food items. Prepare according to the list.
- Properly store all foods and beverages. Check food quality, store quality, and properly label all food items.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area. Clean food preparation areas before and after each meal, sanitize surfaces, utensils, equipment, and utensils used in the kitchen. Clean equipment used in the kitchen according to MSDS guidelines.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards for food preparation and service.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward coworkers and management when dealing with guests or customers.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to multi-task a must. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks at one time. Must have good organizational skills with attention to detail. Must have good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others as well as follow instructions regarding serving orders and handling cash/credit card transactions.

Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $15.59-$19.50 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
