**Job Title**
Experienced Line Cook/Grill
**What You’ll need to know**
- Be knowledgeable regarding allergy policies and procedures to ensure that guests are not at risk of an allergic reaction
- Work each shift with a safety mindset. Be proactive in regards to back of the house safety(food safety, potential hazards for employees or guests)
**Part-time Offers 25-30 hours**
**Job Types**: Part-time
- Key Responsibilities_
- _Must have experience in cooking meat and fish, understanding temperatures of protein_
- Follow all recipes of Executive Chef. diligently
- Execute dishes with accuracy, speed, and detail; emphasis on presentation and garnishing
- Must prep (chopping, peeling, cutting) and stock cooking station with all the necessary ingredients and equipment before leaving your shift.
- Monitor stock and log shortages
- Keep a clean work station, including equipment and utensils; understand and abide by health & safety standards and Food safe requirements
- Key Requirements_
- Minimum 2 year experience
- Food Handling and Health & Safety Training
- Skilled in various cooking methods; grilling, frying, sauteing, chopping, preparing, strong knife skills and workable knowledge of kitchen equipment.
- Understanding of standard measurements and portions
- Able to follow written and oral instructions
- Demonstrate professionalism (communication, mannerisms, dedication, punctuality)
- A team player, Excellent in a team environment
- Must be able to lift moderate amounts of weight
- Stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, mornings and evening
Salary may be negotiated according to experience
**Experience**:
- Culinary: 2 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 2 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-44 per week
**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
