We are seeking one part-time French-speaking Program Facilitator to deliver programs primarily in person to youth, educators, and potentially some workplace training. The successful applicant will work closely with the Harmony Movement team to develop and facilitate workshops that address fundamental equity and diversity issues. Our programs explore personal and group identities, stereotypes, prejudice, discrimination, media literacy, historical inequity in Canada, and personal empowerment, as well as leadership for equity, inclusion, and social change. This position reports to the Director of Programs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and facilitate leadership, diversity, and anti-discrimination education programs and workshops for youth, parents/caregivers, and educators, working independently and alongside co-facilitators.
- Develop and deliver workshops that empower and support youth, parents/caregivers, educators, administrators and board staff to create more inclusive school communities.

- Collaborate with school and community partners to assess needs, identify learning goals/outcomes, and develop relevant content that appeals to diverse learning styles.
- Work in collaboration with the other Program Facilitators and Managers to seek out, develop and maintain relationships and opportunities with partners in schools and organizations.
- Support all operations relating to Harmony Movement programs including data gathering and evaluation, research, reporting, and various community development activities.
- Regular travel to deliver training across the GTA and sometimes further into other parts of Ontario will be required, including some overnight stays.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma with at least one year of relevant working experience, or equivalent work experience in place of formal education
- Experience facilitating workshops and interactive group activities, working directly with diverse youth and adults with a variety of learning styles and needs within a workshop, classroom, or conference setting.
- Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills and ability to engage the audience in a classroom, community workshop, or conference environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality materials for sharing with our audiences.
- Excellent research, planning, and time and project management skills with proven ability to see projects and tasks to completion.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team within a flexible professional environment, with mínimal supervision.
- This position involves flexible hours to include weekday evenings and occasional weekends.
- Clearance from a Vulnerable Sector Police Screening.

Rates start at $30 per hour and can increase based on experience. A per-program flat rate can also be negotiated.

**Principales responsabilités**:

- Planifier et animer des programmes et des ateliers d’éducation au leadership, à la diversité et à la lutte contre les discriminations pour les jeunes, les parents/soignants et les éducateurs, en travaillant de manière indépendante et avec des coanimateurs.
- Élaborer et animer des ateliers qui responsabilisent et soutiennent les jeunes, les parents/soignants, les éducateurs, les administrateurs et le personnel des conseils d’administration afin de créer des communautés scolaires plus inclusives.

- Collaborer avec les partenaires de l’école et de la communauté pour évaluer les besoins, identifier les objectifs/résultats de l’apprentissage et développer un contenu pertinent qui s’adresse à divers styles d’apprentissage.
- Travailler en collaboration avec les autres animateurs et gestionnaires de programme pour rechercher, développer et entretenir des relations et des opportunités avec des partenaires dans les écoles et les organisations.
