Supply Chain Manager is responsible for management of all activities related to Supply Chain, warehouse and Logistics for GTS Canada and US to ensure that work is done is a timely and in efficient manner.

Supply Chain Manager oversees the activities related to tactical Procurement and supply needed to meet Project demand, warehouse management and Logistics

Key Responsibilities:
Operational
- Manage tactical buying team to drive delivery performance and meet procurement yearly volume in support to Project revenue
- Manage the supply chain department with process improvement initiatives to ensure the team is effectively managing inventory levels and reducing costs of carrying stock
- Mentor Supply Chain Team to develop contingency plan to manage, identify any gaps in the supply chain
- Ensure Supply Chain team maintenance of data integrity in SAP.
- Management of operational execution of supply chain to meet monthly KPIs
- Responsible for monitoring, preparing, and authorizing the department’s operational budgets, including direct resource allocation to Projects
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to Suppliers and international trade
- Track and monitor inventory level and requirements driving initiatives to reduce inventory level year after year
- Manage 3PL inventory
- Define and manage Department budget and cost of function

Management
- Develop, maintain and lead a competent and motivated team
- Manage and monitor performance of the Supply Chain team, supporting suppliers’ escalation process and addressing issues as they occur.
- Develop and maintain short and medium term plans for resources, tools and processes.
- Ensure that all company Processes and Procedures are made known to team
- Develop and maintain an effective process and management improvement system
- Create and report metrics for monthly Supply Chain KPIs
- Provide the opportunity for upgrading individual skills and provide opportunities for advancement.
- Host weekly Supply Chain team meetings.
- You will supervise, mentor, and engage all managers within the Supply Chain Management Department by striving to increase engagement, retention, and efficiency among their team

Key Requirements:

- Scientific background with post-secondary degree (MSc, or Business, or equivalent), and additional business education or Supply Chain Certification
- 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain manufacturing environment and warehouse Management
- Strong experience with Oracle or SAP Supply Chain module (preferably SAP)
- Strong reporting experience using enterprise CRM
- Demonstrate superior interpersonal written and oral skills in daily relations and reporting/status.
- Maintain complete and effective lines of communication with staff and management
- Set a positive environment within the team by adopting a positive, co-operative and collaborative approach in all activities
- Management experience with ability to mentor, coach and inspire teams
- Experience in developing and implementing a procurement strategy in a Project based organization is an important asset
