Job Summary

We are seeking an E-Supply Chain Transformation Specialist to lead the management and development of transformation initiatives, strategies, programs, projects, and services that support improvement, automation, streamlining, and e-enablement of supply chain management processes for Supply Ontario.

About the Role
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and provide strategic direction to a team of resources to enable business delivery on established programs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate large-scale change management initiatives that drive change through technology projects and change management activities resulting in high levels of adoption, acceptance, and engagement across OPS and other public sector customers.
  • Create and execute a strategic roadmap outlining the direction of change and transformation initiatives of operational processes and programs supporting related technology projects outside of the functional area.
  • Direct cross-functional project teams, articulating ideas, goals, processes, resources, culture, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and issues. Encourage participation and model leadership, commitment, innovation, and responsible risk-taking.
  • Review and assess ongoing and potential transformation initiatives by undertaking research and analysis to prioritize efforts to automate and streamline supply chain processes and programs ensuring ongoing relevance to Supply Ontario strategies through greater use of technology.
  • Provide senior leadership for the development, submission, and presentation of specific transformation plans supporting process streamlining and modernization through the use of technology or process change. Prepare resource estimates and presentations for executive decision-making enabling Supply Ontario to meet transformation goals.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in progressively responsible leadership positions across multiple functions with specific experience in e-enablement of supply chain management processes including procurement with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience leading and operationalizing projects involving configuration, implementation, change management, and deployment of eProcurement Solutions including contract and vendor management with large organizations.
  • Strong understanding of digital supply chain tools and platforms such as e-procurement systems, supply chain systems, and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills interpreting complex data and making informed decisions.
  • Proven leadership skills inspiring, coaching, and motivating a team of direct reports and cross-functional teams.
