Sharp Trucking Services Ltd. is hiring a **Safety Supervisor/Driver Trainer** based out of Calgary. Must be able to spend 80%+ of the time in the field in AB/BC.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Participate in the ongoing development, implementation and monitoring of the health and safety program, both within the office and in the field
- Ensure the organization is compliant with all health and safety legislation, regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance.
- Completion of all necessary safety documentation
- Be an active and engaged safety participant in the field.
- Inspect work site, facilities, and equipment, identifying and correcting hazards.
- Demonstrate professional interactions with employees and clients
- Providing mentoring to workers and leaders in maintaining safe work habits and practices
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Safety Advisor in a Federal Regulated company
- CRSP is preferred, with a compliment of other relevant OH&S courses.
- Strong working knowledge of OHS and COR requirements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal and organizations abilities
- Exceptional computer skills; Excel, Word
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- Strong leadership skills and the capability to assess priorities and work independently.
- Class 1 license is a definite asset.
