Ramp Trainer Supervisor Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ramp Trainer Supervisor to lead our team of ramp trainers and deliver comprehensive training programs for airport operations, ground handling, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in aviation ground operations and training, as well as a strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Program Development: Develop and update training programs that meet industry standards and company policies, collaborating with relevant departments to incorporate changes and updates.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Lead a team of ramp trainers, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure effective training delivery and consistent performance.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct hands-on and classroom training sessions for ground personnel, focusing on safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all training activities, including attendance, assessments, and feedback, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Collaborate with safety and compliance teams to integrate safety protocols and procedures into training programs, monitoring and enforcing adherence to safety regulations.
  • Coordination with Operations: Work closely with the operations department to align training programs with current operational needs and challenges, providing input on operational policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in aviation ground operations and training.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
