The Maintenance and Business Support Services team is a dedicated group of around 24 professionals who provide core support services to Natural Resource (NR) partners. With a focus on efficient and timely service delivery, the team is responsible for initial support through the NR Sector Business Service Desk, maintaining systems, and managing knowledge resources. The team works closely with other teams across the division, and members are located primarily in the capital city of Victoria, with representation across the province. **The Role**
In this leadership role, you'll be managing a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of service delivery. You will oversee budgeting and financial planning for the branch, while driving innovation and continual improvement within the team. By fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment, you'll help ensure that NR Sector clients receive excellent support. **Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- A degree in business, operations management, public administration, information management and information technology, computer science or a related/equivalent discipline or a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- A minimum of four (4) years of recent, related experience in:

- Leading the development, transformation and continual improvement of maintenance and business service desk services for an innovative, IM/IT organization of similar size and complexity.
- Providing expert advice and recommendations regarding IT infrastructure and delivery management services including: root cause analysis, incident and problem management, and technical change management.
- Leading and managing knowledge and technical information capture processes; and configuration management database (CMDB) development and sustainment.
- Managing capital and/or operational budgets, forecasts, contracts and expenditures ensuring compliance with fiscal parameters and the prudent use of financial resources.
- Experience leading client facing teams and resolving complex staff and client issues.
- Experience building relationships with multiple jurisdictions and clients.
- Supervising employees in a union environment.
- Experience in leading service transformation initiatives
- Experience working with BC Government’s Digital Framework and Digital Principles and Core Policy
- Relevant training or certification related to ITIL, Agile and/or Scrum Methodology
- Experience with technical change and release management processes in a bi-modal organization

**About this Position**:
