**Claims Analyst**

**Position Purpose**:This position adjudicates all Customer Disputes or Claims in

accordance with IPG business guidelines and respective Policies and Procedures.

**Principle Accountabilities**

1. Validate and process customer claims such as returns, shortages, pricing discrepancies in a timely manner

2. Analyze and review claims file portfolios and communicate root causes and potential solutions

3. Proactively communicate claims status and other key data information to internal and external stakeholders.

4. Work with internal departments as needed, including Sales and Product Marketing and warehouse, to validate and/or resolve questions or issues on customer’s A/R

5. Identify procedural non-compliance on claims approvals; escalates process gaps to management

6. Participate in Claims process improvement projects.

7. Responsible for productivity levels and quality levels as assigned by management.

8. Perform collection tasks on delinquent client accounts as warranted.

9. Support the task of Order release as warranted.

10. Demonstrated ability to multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy

11. Conduct other duties and small projects as assigned by management

12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction

13. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and excellent math aptitude

14. Ensures policy and procedures are being enforced regarding approval levels and corresponding reason codes

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- University degree and/or equivalent in 3 to 5years of related work experienced in Claims or Customer Services or Accounting
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Results oriented and strong problem-solving skills
- Solid organizational skills
- Intermediate to advance skills with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of JD is an asset
