Additionally, you’ll:

- Get to work closely with our security team and learn about our products and raw materials, as well as security around transporting secret-level goods.
- Get extensive transportation law and customs knowledge.

**What Will You Do?**

Our logistics coordinator will liaise with Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to coordinate the export of our finished goods and other equipment and materials as required. They will ensure all documentation is accurate and available to facilitate a smooth and compliant customs clearance process and end delivery to the customer.

More specifically you will:

- Analyze the appropriate modes of transportation for CBN’s needs, ensuring the most appropriate mode of transport is used, factoring in elements such as cost, speed, and security.
- Negotiate costs with different carriers ensuring the most cost-efficient options are being used for shipments.
- Verify that all documents are completed correctly to ensure smooth transition of goods through customs.
- Track & trace all shipments and keep the CBN team updated on all arrivals. You’ll be the hub of knowledge around shipments and will keep other teams working effectively around the shipment schedule.

**What Will Help You Succeed?**

**_ Knowledge/Experience_**
- College diploma or University degree in Transportation/Business, or a certification in transportation.
- Technical knowledge of all modes of transportation with emphasis on courier, air freight, and truck.
- Practical knowledge of international customs and trade regulations and transportation law.
- Understanding procedures pertinent to transportation and INCO terms as well as cargo insurance.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in learning a new trade
- Have a good knowledge of computer tools (Office Suite, etc.)
