NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for someone dedicated to making a difference to join our Strategic Project Management Office team as a Project Change Manager.

The Strategic Project Management Office engages strategic digital transformational initiatives that have direct contribution to NorQuest 2030: We Are Who We Include strategy. We strive to be the center of excellence for transformational project management, business analysis, and change management driven by strategic partnerships across the college.

The Project Change Manager oversees the implementation of organizational change initiatives using technical and industry knowledge in change management and organizational development, creating an environment that encourages employees to adopt changes quickly. This position offers support, training, and coaching to managers and supervisors and acts as a project manager to ensure optimized integration between project management and change management as well as project outcome delivery.

This role will maintain a strong understanding of the emerging trend and practices of change management and strong network with industry leaders, associations, and other post-secondary, contributing to making a positive impact to the greater community that the college serves.

**HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**

**Change Management**
- Create and execute change management plans to address audience-specific needs and impacts.
- Lead the production of training materials and delivery of training, including documentation, web content, video-creation, and training sessions.
- Coach and consult leaders, teams, partners and individuals to adopt new ways of working and navigating change initiatives.
- Identify resistance or potential risks to proposed changes and develop mitigation plans.
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness and timelines before change is implemented.
- Assess training readiness and identify training needs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training plans, materials and individual sessions and use feedback to continuously improve training approaches and delivery.
- Define, measure and track metrics to monitor the success of an implemented change.
- Develop and execute change communication plans.
- Work with leaders, teams, partners, and individuals across different levels and areas of responsibility to identify and report any issues resulting from a change.
- Actively engage in the development and innovation of change management procedures at an organizational level.

**Project Management**
- Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.
- Use and recommend project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects, including project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques. Supports project sponsors and steering committees.
- Perform risk assessment and/or implementing mitigation plans at the project level.
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
- Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline a work plan.
- Establish a work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations, or phases, and arrange assignment of project personnel.
- Monitor and reports on supplier performance, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that vendor performance complies with contract terms. Engages with suppliers to resolve incidents, problems, or performance issues.

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience related to organizational change management along with 5 years in project management of enterprise level digital transformation and business process improvement projects.
- Experience leading complex, large enterprise-scale projects across multiple and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience with and knowledge of organizational change principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Understanding of change management methodologies. Knowledge and experience of PROSCI is required.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (ie:Project Management Institute, PRINCE2 and agile approaches).

**ACCREDITATION**
- PROSCI certification required.
- Holds or is working towards a PMP (Project Management Professional) designation or PRINCE2 Certification (highly desirable)
- Holds or is working towards a certified IIBA Business Analysis designation (beneficial)
