Job Title: Underwriter

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Exercising discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters on confidentiality.
- Make well-rationalized credit decisions within established limits and in accordance with Islamic law.
- Work closely with the Sharia board and compliance team to ensure adherence to Islamic finance principles and regulations.
- Ensure customer concerns are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Support the team by continuously improving knowledge in your own area and participate in knowledge transfer with the team and business unit.
- Stay updated with industry developments and regulatory changes related to Islamic finance.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in the financial sector.
- In-depth understanding of Islamic beliefs and their impact on financing practices.
- Familiarity with Sharia-compliant financial products and services.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated passion for ethical finance and a commitment to promoting responsible and sustainable financial practices.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
