**THE OPPORTUNITY - Wellness Services Team Leader - Airdrie (1-year contract)**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to a dedicated team providing a seamless continuum of services for our consumers with disabilities
- Oversee service delivery to ensure compliance with internal practices and health/safety standards, guaranteeing the highest quality of care
- Coach and mentor Wellness Services Practitioners in the delivery of quality services
- Lead and coordinate weekly and monthly schedules and activities for the team
- Work with the Manager to implement the wellness services business plan
- Implement the service plan for each consumer and monitor the effectiveness
- Promote and advocate for consumer services and rights

**WHAT YOU BRING**

We are looking to engage team members with diverse skills, experiences, and interests. These are some of the competencies and credentials we are looking for:

- Degree or Diploma in Community Disability Services or a related field and a minimum of five years of experience working with individuals with disabilities; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Experience supervising and leading a team of employees
- Experience in operational leadership, building high-action teams, coaching and mentoring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of disability issues and the disability and non-profit sectors
- Knowledge of service delivery and community wellness resources
- Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism aligned with Vecova values
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all Vecova team members
- Represent Vecova in a professional manner
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrate a high level of administrative and IT capacity
