**About Justice for Girls**: Justice for Girls is a feminist non-profit organization committed to advancing the human rights of teenage girls who live in poverty.
**Position Overview**: Justice for Girls is seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Administration and Development Manager** to join our dynamic team. The **Administration and Development Manager** will play a pivotal role in working closely with the Directors to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the organization. This position requires a strategic leader with a passion for social and environmental justice and a proven track record of operational excellence.
**Position Overview**: Justice for Girls is seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Administration and Development Manager** to join our dynamic team. The **Administration and Development Manager** will play a pivotal role in working closely with the Directors to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the organization. This position requires a strategic leader with a passion for social and environmental justice and a proven track record of operational excellence.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Administrative Leadership**:
- Collaborate with Directors to develop and implement administrative strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to organizational mandate, values, and policies.
- **Strategic Planning**:
- Contribute to the development and execution of financial and organizational strategic plans in collaboration with Directors. Manage implementation of strategic plans and priorities.
- Work closely with the Leadership Team to align operational plans with broader organizational objectives.
- Update policies and oversee implementation of policies and practices in compliance with relevant laws and best practices.
- **Human Resources & Administration Support**:
- Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Provide guidance and team management support to Directors in their respective areas.
- Manage and coordinate leadership and board meetings, agendas and follow-up.
- Support with drafting and filing documents and administrative program support.
- **Financial Management**:
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the organization's budget.
- Oversee the maintenance of the budget and strive to achieve funding targets.
- Coordinate with external accountants and bookkeepers to conduct financial reporting and audits in accordance with established financial practices and bylaws.
- Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations to the Leadership Team.
- Proactively manage financial resources to ensure alignment with organizational goals and sustainability.
- **Collaboration**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other leaders to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- **Risk Management**:
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop robust strategies for mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to Employment Standards, worker compensation, human rights, etc.
- Implement a comprehensive risk assessment process to anticipate and address challenges that may impact organizational success.
- Regularly review and update policies to align with evolving organizational needs and external factors.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness and responsibility throughout the organization, encouraging timely reporting and resolution of potential issues.
- **Performance Measurement**:
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness and staff performance.
- Regularly assess and report on the organization's operational performance.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior operational role, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a positive attitude and a solution oriented approach.
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Justice for Girls.
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
