The lead tour guide is responsible for the day-to-day running of beer and wine tours between Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

This **full-time** team member is also responsible for tour venue relationships and leading tours 4-5 days a week. This organized individual is responsible for the leadership of our flagship beer and wine tours in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

Office located by Knight St. and SW Marine in South Vancouver. Most tours pick up in Vancouver.

**Leading Craft Beer and Wine Tours Daily**

Pre-booking all tourism activities with all venues

Clear and effective communication with customers

The constant development of the "Vancouver Brewery Tours training manual"

Onboarding & training for new part time libation guides on buses and party bikes
- Weekend guiding all Saturdays and some Sundays (Plus 3 days a week)
- Managing and updating tour routes regularly for better efficiency
- Track and organize the tour and operational expenses and occasionally audit invoices
- Aid in the creation of training days and materials including research and best practices
- Reporting to team lead daily with pressing items and issues
- Successfully communicating tour briefings with guides/drivers daily

**Qualifications and Skills**

2+ years experience in either guiding or craft beer (Class 4 or 2 license an asset but not necessary to start)

Demonstrated high Business Acumen, this helps understand the business and aids in future growth. Cost control is of top importance in this position.
- Effective written and verbal communicator
- Team player with a solution-seeking mindset a must
- Effective multitasker and ability to prioritize tasks
- British Columbia Class 4 Drivers License Mandatory within 3 months of starting the position - Company Will train and pay for. Minimum BC Class 5 to start, sorry out-of-country licenses or N licenses cannot be considered due to the ICBC backlog of license testing.

**Salary**: $45,000 - $55,000 Base Salary + Yearly Bonus based on performance + $1500-$2000/month in tips $63,000-$75,000 Target

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Tour Guiding OR Craft Beer: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- BC Drivers License (required)
