The Ministry of Children & Family Development is responsible for the delivery of programs and services that support positive and healthy outcomes for children, youth and their families across the province.

Reporting to the Provincial Practice Branch Office Manager, the Program Assistant provides a variety of office administrative support services, meeting and event coordination, financial support services, and coordinates the day-to-day priorities of the team. **Job Requirements**:

- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years of clerical/administrative support experience working in an office setting.
- Must be able to keyboard with speed and accuracy at approximately 40 to 50 words per minute.

Preference may be given for:

- Completed post-secondary certificate/diploma in Office Administration/Management or related field.
- Three (3) or more years of clerical/administrative support experience working in an office setting.
- Experience with ARCS/ORCS records classification systems.
- Experience managing an electronic calendar (e.g., arranging meetings and appointments).
- Experience with the Time, Leave, and Attendance Management (TLAM) System.

**About this Position**:
This is a temporary opportunity to June 28, 2024 that may be extended or may become permanent. This temporary posting is not limited to the geographic area. Board and lodging and relocation expenses do not apply.
