The LDB is one of two branches of government responsible for the cannabis and liquor industry of B.C.

Position requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of recent, related* experience providing administrative support in a human resources corporate environment.
  • Recent, related experience is as defined below and must have occurred in the last three (3) years:
  • Experience filing, processing, verifying documentation relating to personnel activities (e.g., staffing, recruitment, training).
  • Experience responding to telephone and written enquiries from staff and the general public.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Formal coursework in Human Resources Management.
  • Experience working in a government or unionized work environment.
  • Experience working with a Human Resource Management System, preferably PeopleSoft.
  • Experience typing, formatting, proofreading, and editing a variety of documents and materials using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, and Excel).
