**Job Summary**: We are looking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Mobile Notary Public to join our team in Kelowna, British Columbia. Unlike typical notaries who are confined to an office, this position involves providing notary services on the go, offering flexibility and variety in your work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Witness and authenticate signatures
- Administer oaths and affirmations
- Certify copies of documents
- Take affidavits and depositions
- Handle and record official acts in an accurate and timely manner
- Travel to clients’ locations to perform notarial services

**Requirements**:

- Completion of the Notary Education Program (NEP) is mandatory
- A valid notary commission in British Columbia
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all notarial acts

6. **Technical Proficiency**: Using mobile devices and software for scheduling, mapping, and managing documents.

7. **Knowledge of Notary Laws**: Understanding and adhering to the legal requirements and regulations specific to the jurisdiction.

8. **Confidentiality**: Handling sensitive documents and information with discretion and maintaining client confidentiality.

9. **Problem-Solving Skills**: Addressing any issues that arise during the notarization process efficiently.

10. **Reliability and Integrity**: Being dependable, honest, and maintaining a high level of integrity in all professional interactions.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience as a notary public
- Familiarity with British Columbia notary laws

**Job Type**: Commission

Pay: $50.00-$250.00 per hour
