Our agency is seeking a professional to perform administrative work including scheduling, office management, and general office duties. You will be responsible for assisting the administrative staff with tasks and projects related to the company's ongoing mission as well as additional special projects that arise within the company.
- this position has an on-call and weekend/after-hours support component

Areas of Responsibility:

- answer phone calls from clients and caregivers in a positive and friendly manner
- excellent organizational skills
- a knowledge of social media platforms and strong computer skills
- excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication
- responsibility for scheduling caregiver shifts and communication with caregivers and clients
- perform other duties as assigned
- meet with potential clients in their homes
- interview potential caregivers and orientate them to our processes

Who You Are:

- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in geriatrics or a suitable combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently and understand verbal and written instructions
- Able to motivate and lead others in the accomplishment of a task
- All successful applicants must pass the vulnerable sector Criminal Record Check applicable to Provincial guidelines.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $48,552.00-$51,319.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cambridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cambridge, ON
