LG Canada is currently seeking a Home Electronics Technical Support Representative to support inbound calls from LG employee technicians and Authorized Service Centres. This position is based out of our Canadian Head Office in North York. The Technical Support Representative will provide professional, technical support primarily via phone and chat. This position supports LG’s strategic plan to provide high quality shop and in-home repair for our customers while consistently improving the speed of repair.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling inbound call volume from LG employee technicians and Authorized Service Centres from across Canada.
- Delivering extremely high level of technical expertise to resolve problems in the field.
- Reviewing and approving Return Authorization requests from Authorized Service Centres.
- Documenting and reporting field quality issues to the Quality team
- Providing technical support to different internal Business Units.
- Testing / troubleshooting problem equipment in our Technical Support lab.
- Supporting Parts inquiries from our Authorized Service Centres.
- Article and video creation for publication on LG’s online learning system.
- Required to be knowledgeable of and adhere to all applicable Health and Safety regulations, both legislatively mandated and as outlined in company policy.

KNOWLDEGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in servicing consumer electronics, including: televisions, sound bars, etc.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license at all times.
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and a Skilled Trade Certificate.
- Must possess eagerness and passion to continually learn and evolve new technical skills.
- Ability to communicate in French (verbal and written) would be an asset.
