Responsibilities:
**Support the Executive Director**
- You will report to the Executive Director
- You will provide high-quality support that anticipates the needs of the ED
- You will assume full ownership of the ED’s schedule: Confirm meeting agendas, spaces, and relevant attendees, and ensure the ED is well prepared for each meeting, and when relevant, sit in and take high-level meeting minutes and action items.
- You will take on special projects/support as needed
- Schedule and prepare for special events such as board meetings

**Coordinate Organizational and Projects Administrative Needs**
- Work with the rest of the teams to plan, organize and implement events
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Expense management and reconciliation

**Your Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of post-secondary education in administration or a combination of education and acceptable experience as deemed by the employer
- You have experience working with and supporting others.
- You are able to communicate in a clear and understandable manner (verbally and in writing)
- You are self-motivated, well-organized and shows initiative, flexibility, maturity under pressure, anticipates and solves problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable working with a diverse group of people from inside and outside the company.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring good prioritization, organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
- Seek information beyond what is plainly presented, with an aim to understand the team's goals and find ways to help accomplish these goals.
- Experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint, Zoom
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.65-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: One location
