**Job Summary**
As **Project Manager**, you’ll oversee all operational aspects of sales sectors at DCI, from project estimation through engineering, production, and delivery. Working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams, you’ll lead projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Review, negotiate, and manage contracts, sub-contracts, NDAs, and change orders.
- Identify and address project risks, developing response and contingency plans.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to a Project Coordinator, ensuring effective execution.
- Secure customer change orders and ensure projects align with contractual terms.
- Engage and coordinate with project teams (drafting, engineering, procurement, plant, transportation, and field) and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, financial performance, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
- Review non-conformance reports and provide guidance for resolution.
- Support the Sales team during pre-bid stages by evaluating project risks.
- Foster a solution-oriented, transparent environment with strong communication.
- Maintain responsibility for project budgets, ensuring financial health and flagging issues as needed.
- Travel throughout Ontario to support projects as required.
- Attend weekly team meetings at designated business locations.
- Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
**What You Bring**
- Post-secondary education in business, construction, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5-10 years of relevant project management experience.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Smartsheet.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Valid Class G driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record.
- Willingness to obtain additional safety certifications as needed.
- Construction and precast experience (an asset).
- Proficiency in Critical Path Method Scheduling.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
**Work Environment**
- Hybrid work flexibility (office, remote, and travel).
- Some noise exposure in production environments.
- Occasional lifting of lightweight objects.
