**Job Summary**:
The IT Project Manager reports to the IT Manager, Digital Workplace & IT Systems and is responsible for
planning, executing, and finalizing IT projects according to deadlines and budgets. This includes identifying and
coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects
according to plan. They will also define the project’s objectives and oversee the project through the PPMO
process.
**Responsibilities**:

practices.

- Seeing everything through the lens of the customer.
- Paying attention to the physical environment because everything speaks.
- Providing service delivery that will create service wows.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management
and stakeholders.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear
fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Oversee the project through the PPMO and stage gate process.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take
positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Performs other related duties and/or special projects as required in the department.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field (IT related field is preferred)
- Relevant certification is an asset (i.e. PMP).
**Skills**:
- Strong team player with the ability to lead and mentor staff, including remotely, as well as within crosscultural teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse teams (proactive).
- Proficiency in French or Portuguese (Brazilian) is an asset.
- Agile in thought and action with the ability to tackle difficult problems analytically and to make wellreasoned business decisions (business acumen).
- Demonstrated experience guiding conflict resolution and facilitating employee relations activities.
- Experience in several project management methods: waterfall, agile
- Familiarity with IT I&O technology, for example: Microsoft 365, Azure, Identity, Cybersecurity...
- Capability of producing high quality specification and documentation.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing IT infrastructure and operations projects
- Pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic industry experience is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated track record of providing great customer service.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and other Employment related legislation such as the
Employment Standards Act is considered an asset
- Valid Driver’s license and passport (i.e. eligible to travel Internationally up to 10% of the time).
