Are you a builder and love creating structure? Then this job is for you The HR Business Partner will provide day-to-day support to our Warehouses with recruitment, onboarding, health and safety, HRIS, and other related HR activities and initiatives. This role will be based out of our two East Toronto Offices. _This role is hybrid 3-4 days in office 1-2 days from home. This will vary depending on workload._
- HR Business Partner who is employee centric and customer service orientated.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of a warehouse environment and related practices, policy development & deployment, and data & document management
- Provide full cycle recruitment including:

- Recruitment
- Partnering with hiring manager, creating a dynamic job description as needed
- Prescreen resumes, conduct interviews, set up secondary interviews as required
- Generate employment agreements, complete employment verification/criminal checks
- Counsel employee and management on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and other employee related issues.
- Facilitate new employee onboarding for all warehouse staff, as well as corporate roles as needed
- Provide full support in functional areas of the Human Resources including maintaining and updating records related to Human Resources.
- Continually assess training needs; develop and coordinate training programs in conjunction with Managers; track and report training initiatives
- Ability to assist with Health & Safety when required
- Lead workplace investigations, present findings and create recommendations based on the findings to assist the resolution of any complaints.

Monitor HR inboxes and respond to or route inquiries to the appropriate person; ensure follow up on all questions and work to resolve issues
- Respond to routine inquiries by employees regarding HR policies, procedures
- Provide general administrative and/or analytical support
- Complete special projects and duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary graduate of a Human Resources, Business or relevant field
- Must have 5-7 years of work experience in a human resources role working in a warehouse environment
- Thorough understanding of the Ontario Employment Standards Act
- Experience with other provincial legislation an asset

Proficient with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook
