**Position Summary**:
The Manager, HR Technology & Analytics will be responsible for developing and implementing short-term and long-term HR Technology roadmaps. This role reports to the Director, HR Operations and directly supervises a team of HR Technology Analysts.

The Manager, HR Technology & Analytics provides day-to-day oversight and guidance for functional technology support, reporting and analytics delivery, and project management. This position is responsible for ongoing maintenance of the existing Oracle PeopleSoft HCM system as well as design, deployment, change request and enhancements of all HR systems and technology.

Serving as a strong consultative and collaborative partner across the HR function, this leader will champion adoption, continuously improve service delivery, system usability and functionality and enhance reporting in alignment with HR strategy and initiatives while ensuring consistent security, data integrity, system functionality and reporting.

**Responsibilities**:
**Transformation & Strategy**
- Manages the strategic direction of new and enhanced HR Technology initiatives, overall project management, requirements, acceptance testing, configuration, and implementation.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including IT, Payroll, Finance, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and issue escalation with the goal of establishing successful and collaborative HR systems and processes.
- Oversees the release management process to ensure accurate and timely implementation of new system functionality and any related issue tracking and resolution for new or existing functionality.
- Ensures implementation of a comprehensive testing approach for all system changes.
- Manages and coordinates the development of business requirements, functional and technical documentation, conducts fit/gap analysis, develops test plans, and executes testing.

**HR Reporting & Analytics**
- Ensures that in-scope HR reporting and analytics capabilities meet current business needs and develop recommendations/ initiatives to ensure capabilities meet future needs.
- Defines and monitors mechanisms for HR data governance, security, and compliance i.e., standardizes definitions, conducts regular data audits of HR data, and communicates data entry protocols.
- Continuously question the status quo and champion automation and process efficiencies while valuing the employee experience.
- Keeps abreast of legislation, trends, advances, and/or new technology and makes recommendations for changes and improvements and maintains a working knowledge of provincial legislation that may affect HR Technology policies.

**Human Resources Management**
- Oversees the hiring, performance management, and development of staff, so that their full potential is actualized, and their knowledge and skills are constantly updated.
- Ensures the team has the appropriate training, mentoring, and career development.
- Seeks out opportunities to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- A completed four (4) year degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Formal technical and systems training or experience with ERP products such as PeopleSoft, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM and Workday is an asset.

**Experience**
- Experience in a post-secondary environment or public sector organization is an asset.
- Hands-on experience with complex HR database administration is an asset.

**Skills**
- Ability to write queries and understand PeopleSoft HCM data structure.
- Good knowledge of existing and emerging HR technologies including HR Service Delivery platforms.
- Ability to translate user needs into technical capabilities and solutions; ability to anticipate technical needs to support a growing organization.
