LandSure is a subsidiary of the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA), a publicly accountable, statutory corporation that manages BC's land title and survey systems. Our team of nearly 100 employees supports the LTSA through information system consulting services, project management, customer support, and communications.

**What you'll do**:
Reporting to the Product Portfolio Manager, Geospatial Services, the Manager, Geodata Services (the “Manager”) is responsible for leading the Geodata Services team in curating and maintaining innovative, trusted, and reliable land-related geospatial data to support the economy in the public interest. As a cornerstone geodata asset, the Manager will lead the continual improvement of ParcelMap BC, ensuring the parcel fabric is current, reliable, trusted and meets the business objectives while at the same time, delivering effective and efficient customer service to LTSA’s customers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provides leadership to and manages the Geodata Services team including coaching, mentoring and developing staff.
- Ensures all geodata products and services meet our business objectives and are complete, trusted and represent the land base in BC.
- Improves operational excellence within the team and defines and executes on gaps in productivity, quality assurance/quality control, data integrity, and currency.
- Ensures operating procedures and standards are followed including improving workflows and data integrity while maintaining ParcelMap BC and other geodata products and services.
- Assists in defining new geodata products and services that support our stakeholders and other divisions within the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA).
- Leads the Geodata Services team and contractors in the maintenance and improvement of ParcelMap BC.
- Ensures high level of customer and stakeholder satisfaction with ParcelMap BC and other geodata products and services through engagement with various customer and stakeholder segments.
- Monitors performance metrics and creates operational reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Acts as a leader both internally and externally for growing and expanding Geodata Services’ offerings, including ParcelMap BC.
- Maintains staffing levels against a defined workload model.
- Provides input to the Geospatial Services (GSS) portfolio annual budget and manages resources within the Geodata Services team in order to achieve business and financial targets.
Education and Experience
- Post-secondary degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or equivalent degree.
- Six to eight years of technical experience working in land-related data management, GIS or surveying.
- Five years of team-based supervisory/management experience with direct reports in a technical environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a natural ability to motivate and support colleagues, including an ability to effectively adapt to co-workers & customers with different styles and levels of experience.
