**Job description**

Cultivar Foods is a fast-growing wholesaler distributor that has been supplying Organic & Natural Food products to health food stores, grocery chains, and foodservice customers for over 17 years.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, self-managed person who can assist us in maintaining our presence across the established Toronto and GTA territory.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about building relationships, driving sales, and providing excellent customer service.

**Role Specific Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following**:

- Actively Promote our products with retailers at Toronto and GTA Account.
- Maintain, identify, and develop accounts relationships with Organic and Natural Food Stores and independent groceries stores in your assigned territory. This will include a large, pre-existing customer base.
- Servicing existing accounts (promotes/sells/obtains orders), and establishes, develops new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule through a relationship-based approach.
- Demonstrates products to existing/potential accounts and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs;
- Educate clients on products, prices, policies, and profitable business practices.
- Maintain constant communication with clients to improve on existing relationships and quickly resolve concerns.
- Constantly seek to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Analyze client performance and execute both positive and negative account management practices.
- Participate in developing new marketing and sales strategies.
- Identify trends in the market and stay informed of competitor’s offerings and strategies.
- Provide market knowledge to head office with respect to needs and trends in the grocery industry.
- Other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS**:
Deliver exceptional Customer service, meeting sales goals, closing skills, territory management, prospecting skills, negotiation, self-confidence, product knowledge, presentation skills, client relationships, motivation for sales, demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach), must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment, must possess verbal and written communication skills in English.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 3+ years outside sales account manager experience.
- Minimum 1-3+ years Food industry, retails, distributors related experience is required.
- Professional; strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Possesses a valid Ontario Driver’s License and own car.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; a strong negotiator.
- Highly energetic, agile, well organized and detail oriented, with proven ability to manage multiply priorities in a fast
- paced environment.
- Strong self - management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**:

- Competitive base Salary and Commission compensation. Annual earnings for this role start at $60,000 and up.
