In business for over twenty-five years, we are a privately owned property management company. The company currently manages over 40 industrial properties in Edmonton, Leduc, and Red Deer area. We have a small office environment with a great culture.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
We currently have an opening for a Receptionist/Property Administrator. This vibrant opportunity is for an individual who is a self-starter, enjoys a fast-paced environment, works well under pressure, and has great attention to detail.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Receptionist**
- Greeting and welcoming visitors as they arrive
- Professionally answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate personnel
- Take messages and relay them to the appropriate individuals promptly
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor to ensure a positive experience for all visitors and callers
- Communicate effectively with all internal teams and personnel to relay messages and updates accurately

**Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable**
- Reviews and processes a high volume of invoices on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis
- Enters company credit cards and ensures proper allocation of expenses
- Performs quarterly expense allocation among properties
- Maintains vendor records
- Processes monthly, quarterly, and yearly GST
- Prepares, processes, and applies daily deposits
- Advises managers on tenant discrepancies
- Prepares monthly reports of outstanding accounts receivable

**Property Management**:

- Creating and reviewing documents / Tenant communications
- Calling Vendors to follow up on the status of assigned work
- Following up with Tenants regarding the quality of the work performed
- Assisting with uploading leases, documents, etc into Yardi
- Process all incoming and outgoing mail
- Performs ad hoc projects

**QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS**:

- Diploma in Accounting or Office Administration
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of office experience
- Knowledge of Yardi software would be an asset
- Experience in property management would be an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must
- Works well independently and within a team environment
- Ability to meet deadlines on time
- Highly organized and takes initiative to complete tasks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months
