London, Canada London Cross Cultural Learner Centre Full time

The Cross Cultural Learner Centre is a non-profit organization, located in London, Ontario, that provides settlement services for newcomers to Canada. We are currently looking for a full-time, permanent, Volunteer Match Coordinator to join our team. This role works Monday to Friday 12:00 to 8:00 pm, and the occasional Saturday when events are happening.

We offer full benefits (medical, dental, travel, life, and disability), a pension, generous paid time off, hybrid work options and the opportunity to do challenging, meaningful work.

This position is responsible for recruiting, orienting, and coordinating volunteers who act as mentors for clients and supports various programming needs, including occasional group facilitation. Having a social service background, the ability to go out into the community to find volunteers and a passion for working with people from all over world will ensure you successful in this role. The ability to speak a second language is a great asset. You will also need a Valid Ontario Driver’s license without restrictions and access to a reliable vehicle for off-site activities.

As CCLC works with vulnerable clients in our community, you’ll need to be able to pass a Vulnerable Persons Police Check to work for our organization.
