**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Administrative Support:

- Assist the EDI advisor with day-to-day administrative tasks in the EDI office.
- Assist with coordinating logistics for the Ubuntu film preview and an Intergroup Dialogue workshop, including scheduling and participant communications.
- Assist with preparation of materials and resources for the events. Assist with creating digital reports and presentations.

Communication and Outreach:

- Assist with the publicity for promoting the Ubuntu storytelling film preview.
- Support the outreach efforts to promote the IGD training to CRC chairholders, their teams, and the larger research community. Maintain communication with participants, including sending reminders and follow-up surveys.

Data Management:

- Assist in collecting and organizing feedback from participants at the events through surveys to assess the impact of the events.
- Create reports summarizing event outcomes and participant feedback. Assist in organizing follow-up affinity group meetings post-IGD training to encourage ongoing dialogue and relationship building.

**Accountability**

Direct supervision will be offered by the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor. The student is expected to maintain clear communication with the EDI office to ensure alignment with university goals and policies.

Position Requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled as a student at the University of Regina.
- Demonstrated interest in equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, particularly in the context of higher education and research.
- Ability to prioritise and manage administrative tasks with a strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in event coordination and organising logistics an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with design tools such as Canva for creating promotional materials and digital resources.
- Experience with data collection, organizing feedback, and using data management tools to analyze and report results. Familiarity with tools like Microsoft forms, Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As Per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours

Approximately 14 hours per week in-person at the University of Regina campus.
