Project Manager, Supply Chain Transitions

**Summary**:
Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced **Project Manager, Supply Chain** who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic projects requiring transitioning of parts or work scope within the supply base (make-to-buy and buy-to-buy). This role is dedicated and responsible robust and hands on ensuring Global and Domestic suppliers are supported.

**This position is a remote role.**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the lifecycle and operational aspects of a portfolio of work transfer projects.
- Review the status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
- Assess project risks and drive risk mitigation plans.
- Develop plans to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Regularly interact and interface with internal customers and external suppliers.
- Liaise between project management and planning, the project team, and line management.
- Support the creation of and then maintain the project schedule.
- Support the creation of and then maintain the project engineering, test, and quality plan.
- Manage responsibilities across multiple supply chain disciplines on a regular basis.
- Overcome roadblocks or problems requiring technical support.
- Work autonomously with limited oversight.
- Improve processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the work area.
- Approximately 25% travel required.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience **_OR_**:

- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience **_OR_**:

- In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office

**Preferred Experience**:

- Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Experience presenting and communicating to senior level leadership.
- Experience with SAP and MS Project software.
- Aerospace/Automotive/Industrial experience.
- Technical or manufacturing aptitude.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

**Hybrid**: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

**Remote**: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
