**Repairs Coordinator**

**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Repair Coordinator to join our team. As a Repair Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the repair and maintenance of machine parts and components. Your responsibilities will include measuring parts for repair or replacement, reverse engineering parts as needed, and creating sketches or drawings for repair jobs. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with machinists and technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repair tasks. **Location**: Thompson Drive & Lingard Road, Cambridge, Ontario

**Salary**: $35.00 - $38.00

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure parts and components for repair or replacement.
- Reverse engineer parts as necessary.
- Create sketches or drawings of parts for repair or replacement.
- Coordinate with machinists and technicians for repair jobs.
- Complete repair work scope and process the repairs based on incoming inspection results.
- Any other duties as required and assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be residing either in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, or Guelph area.
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation, preferably owns a car.
- Previous experience in a repair coordination role or general machinist role in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Experience in parts measurement and reverse engineering.
- Proficiency in creating sketches or drawings of mechanical parts.
- Knowledge of machining processes is an asset.
- Good understanding of engineering practices.
- Relevant education i.e. machine technologist, mechanical engineering, 429A certification etc.
- Focus on quality and excellence.
- Expertise in practicing workplace safety SOPs.
- Ability to work effectively in a noisy, hot, and fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$38.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

- Cambridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
