**Job Summary**
**PLEASE NOTE - THIS OPPORTUNITY IS WITH A PRIVATE SERVICE PROVIDER, not the Government.
Manage an office of several full-time and part-time staff for - Drivers & Vehicles, Health Card & Photo ID related services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stock management, inventory reconciliation
- IOA Liaison for Ministry & Service Ontario interactions
- Recruit, select and train employees; maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; plan, monitor and measure job results; coach, counsel and discipline employees; develop, coordinate and enforced systems, policies, procedures and productivity standards.
- Provide quality in-person front counter customer services by providing timely and accurate information related to government programs, products and services; handle customer issues in high volume environment.
- Provide guidance and support to customers in completing documents and forms.
- Collect and process payments, issue refunds; reconcile payments and transactions.
- Maintain files and electronic database systems.
- Produce a variety of reports and correspondence.
- Prepare and check documents for accuracy and completion as per government requirements.
- Prepare daily deposits and handle large amounts of monetary funds.
- Implementation of Government Policies & Procedures for Ministry of Transportation & Service Ontario
*Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications and Skills**
MUST BE BILINGUAL - ENGLISH and FRENCH
At least 5 years customer service experience, preference will be given to those with management experience
Excellent communication skills, conflict resolution & problem solving skills for escalated customer issues
Diplomacy and Tact for handling customers and staff
Accounting, reconciliation experience - asset
Must be willing to work occasional Saturdays and Thursday evenings.
