**Office Administrative Assistant**

Reporting to the Executive Director of McNally House Hospice, the Office Administrative Assistant is an integral part of the McNally House administrative team. Main tasks involve administrative support for the Executive Director, Board of Directors, Donor Management, Special Events, and House Management.

**The Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for**:

- Executive administrative support for Executive Director
- Administrative support to Board of Directors
- Donor database management, including data inputs and outputs (thank you letters, tax receipts & correspondence) per accepted CRA standards
- Preparation of bank deposits and corresponding reports and analysis
- Administrative support in all aspects of special event delivery
- Website maintenance and updates
- Marketing and communications support including direct mail
- Preparation and submission of all required Ministry data reports
- Asset and inventory management; liaising with suppliers, vendors and contractors regarding the day to day operations of house management

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary diploma in a related field and/or 5+ years applicable experience in the charitable sector
- Strong computer skills, with experience in donor fundraising software and databases; able to update online fundraising portals and other electronic tools (Donor Perfect)
- Impeccable knowledge and understanding of CRA requirements for donor management
- Working IT knowledge of office systems
- Understanding of marketing, communications and public relations (Constant Contact)
- Ability to update and maintain organizational website (Wordpress)
- Strong understanding and experience within the communities of West Niagara.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, some weekends and extra hours during events

**Salary**: $51,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
