We are seeking a Data Analyst Student, for our **BC Region district (Richmond Office)**, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4 months starting in **October 2024**. This position will be under the direct supervisor of the Manager, Integrated Construction Technology.

Here's how a Data Analyst Student for our BC Region office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develops and maintains reports and dashboards.
- Translates business needs into production reports and dashboards.
- Acquires data from a variety of structured and unstructured data sources.
- Provides technical support and assistance to report and dashboard consumers.
- Creates and maintain process and system documentation.
- Participates in advanced analytics projects.
- Liaises with business, technology, and support teams to ensure business requirements are met.
- Identifies and suggests improvements to existing solutions and processes.
- Performs quality assurance and system testing.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a computing science, computer engineering or information management related program.
- Keen interest in data management as it applies to business intelligence and analytics.
- Ability to quickly gain proficiency in new software.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is preferred.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL is preferred but not required.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python and C# is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay Range: $19.35 - $24

PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role and work location.
