**Position Overview**:
The leasing agent is the primary driver of all leasing activity. They will work closely under the General Manager and alongside the Property Manager as a vital part of our company's team ecosystem to fill all available properties/units and aid in the growth of our portfolio. This role demands attention to detail, strong communication skills, creative thinking, strong tech skills, the adherence to contractual commitments, company goals and KPI's.

During the initial phase, the role will be largely focused on unit leasing. The role may at times temporarily shift to the focus on gaining additional clientele.

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent
- Oversee all vacancies through communication with GM, PM and tenants
Handles all inquiries from prospective residents professionally and courteously in a timely fashion
Provide exceptional customer service to all clients by identifying and understanding the needs of our clients
Create and post listings of available units
Research comparables for competitive market rent
Qualify prospective residents for properties
Scheduling and completing viewings with prospective residents - ensure they sell the value of the property and its features
Creating residential and commercial leases and negotiating
Welcome new residents and provide a full orientation as required
Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to GM to monitor and work towards KPI's
Administer tenant files and leases, act as a liaison, and communicate with PM and Maintenance as needed
Undertake tasks assigned periodically by the management in alignment with the job’s core purpose
**Key Qualifications**:
2+ years in residential and/or commercial property leasing
Proficiency in Buildium or comparable property management software is an asset
Possession of a G license & reliable transportation
Proficient skills in Google Suite
Ability to meet deadlines and exhibit high integrity
Exceptional communication skills
Proven track record in lease up success
Independent and strong work ethic
Leadership: Energetic, inspiring, and proactive
Problem-solving: Logical, analytical, and solution-oriented
**Availability**: Typical 8 hour work day starting at 9am but with the flexibility for evening and weekend showings
**Location**:In-person, Burlington, ON.
