Your Role as a Property Management Associate
As a Property Management Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our apartment buildings. You will be responsible for managing staff, fostering positive relationships, and overseeing financial performance.
- Supervise and guide staff members in their daily tasks, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with your team and across departments.
- Manage the operational budget for your assigned portfolio, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain a safe and efficient operating environment for residents and staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all property management activities.
- Analyze monthly financial statements to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Be available during business hours and on-call for emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Proficiency in computer applications and related technologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence.
- While experience is not required, previous supervisory or management experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of property management procedures and regulations is beneficial.
- Reliable vehicle and valid Ontario driver's license are essential.
