Are you interested in workplace volunteering & giving programs, and corporate philanthropy? Raymond James Ltd. is seeking a Program Specialist to support the Raymond James Canada Foundation (RJCF) in our corporate responsibility program based in Vancouver BC.

The Raymond James Canada Foundation is a private foundation established in 2012 to facilitate and nurture the philanthropic work of Raymond James Ltd, Canada’s largest independent brokerage firm.

The Program Specialist is a dynamic role responsible for coordinating RJCF’s workplace volunteering & giving programs, and providing communications and administrative support to the Raymond James Canada Foundation.

This position is a full-time contract for a period of 20 months, working through to the end of January 2025. The role operates out of the Raymond James Ltd. downtown Vancouver office, with a hybrid workstyle of in-office and remote work as required in order to satisfy department and event needs. The position will report to the Executive Director of the RJCF.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Program Specialist will be responsible for:

- Planning, implementing, and reporting for RJCF’s employee giving and volunteer programs, including: Annual Giving Campaign (donation matching), RJ Cares Month (volunteer and community initiatives), Advisory Committee (monthly internal granting program), RJ 5K 4 KIDS (peer to peer fundraising campaign), Disaster Relief (ad hoc fundraising), as well as other key charitable initiatives and events as needed;
- Acting as the primary point of contact and lead for all employee giving and volunteer programs.
- Maintaining RJCF’s internal web pages and external website.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of a social media plan for RJCF, in coordination with the Executive Director and Corporate Communications team.
- Fulfilling the day to day administration of the Foundation, including processing, distributing, and tracking outgoing grants and gift letters; maintaining up to date records of credit card and cheque donations; scheduling meetings and providing detailed meeting minutes; and other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Well-developed presentation skills, both in person and virtual;
- Competency in marketing and communications fundamentals
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively between departments, and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization;
- Superior problem solving skills;
- Excellent time-management and organization skills, sufficient to meet multiple tight deadlines in a high pressure environment;
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information;
- Meticulous attention to detail;
- A willingness to learn and take on new projects;
- Strong skills in social good technology solutions and website maintenance;
Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and possess self-assurance in own ideas, capabilities, and actions.
