Established market leader in the sale and distribution of wine to Authorised Grocery and LGCA Licensed Establishments.
**Job Description and Summary**
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is focused on promoting the sales and distribution within MB. Duties include, but not limited to: sales calls to stores, sales calls to restaurants and hotels (licensees), trade shows and public sampling events, and conducting training sessions. Hours for this position include a regular Monday to Friday work week as well as some evenings and weekends as may relate to industry promotions and events. This is a field sales position with occasional overnight travel required.
**Qualifications and Experience**
Some or all of the following would be considered an asset:
- Post secondary degree or diploma in a field related to: Business, Sales and Marketing, Communications, or Winemaking/ Oenology
- Wine knowledge certification (IWEG, WSET, ISG, Etc )
- Employment experience in some or all of the following areas: Hospitality/ Restaurant, Wine Retail, Outbound Sales, CPG Sales/ Marketing
- **Smart Choices **Certification
- Valid Drivers License
**Skills**
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English; bilingual also an asset)
- Results oriented individual driven to complete tasks accurately and on time
- Prospecting, up-selling and deal-closing
- Motivated and equipped with problem solving abilities
- Ability to multi task, maintain attention to detail and be customer focused in a fast paced environment
- Ability to perform moderate mathematical and accounting tasks
- Ability to read and interpret data and financial documents
**Physical Requirements**
- Comply with duties under the Provincial Health and Safety Act
- Ability to lift and carry 20kg a distance of 20 meters
- Ability to stand up for up to 4 hours at a time
- Ability to travel considerable distances in a vehicle
**Job Type**
Full-time, Contract, Commission
**Salary**
Up to $60,000.00 per year
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
