We're seeking a Distribution Specialist to work in Pharmaceutical / Biotech facility for a 6 month contract.

The Distribution Specialist III will perform a variety of day to day roles such as receiving, stock picking/put away, chemical sampling and dispensing, and staging for manufacturing following the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) is necessary and using ERP Systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP is an asset.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

- Ability to perform warehouse related floor tasks that are physical in nature. (ability to lift up to 50lbs)
- Inspects, receives incoming materials using Company’s ERP system.
- Performs shipment preparation
- Maintains the integrity of the inventory location system by performing the appropriate transactions in the ERP system.
- Completion of documentation specific to inventory control and sampling.
- Sampling and repackaging chemicals.
- Maintenance and cleaning of operational areas.
- Offloading of chemical bulk trucks and removal of waste materials from the site.

Specific Education & Experience Requirements:

- 4+ years of relevant experience, High School Diploma.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and experience with an ERP system for Inventory Tracking
- Experience with Forklift and other MHE.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
