**Title**: Social Media Specialist - 1 year Contract (Hybrid)

**Reports To**: Social Media Manager

**Job Purpose**:Napoleon Group of Companies is looking for a Social Media Specialist, reporting to the Social Media Manager in a hybrid role. The Social Media Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping how Napoleon presents itself to the consumer. The Social Media Specialist will work directly with the Social Media Manager in planning, developing, and implementing the company’s overall social media strategy to support and improve online presence and the overall digital marketing, sales, and corporate efforts. The Social Media Specialist will liaise with internal teams and external vendors to support the social media strategy for Napoleon’s three lines of business with specific focus on supporting the Grills business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Partner with in-house teams and external agencies to plan and organize compelling, on-brand creative content, organic and paid campaigns for Napoleon and its customers.
- Develop monthly content calendars for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, optimizing for engagement and reach and utilizing platform specific best practices.
- Manage day-to-day organic activities across Napoleon’s social media channels.
- Oversee community management across social channels, ensuring consistent brand voice, sensitivity and responsiveness.
- Coordinate bilingual (English and French) social media campaigns to support Napoleon customers.
- Collaborate with agencies, in-house teams and influencers to secure and manage partnerships, including gifting campaigns.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize future efforts.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, proposing on-brand strategies to keep Napoleon at the forefront of digital innovation.
- Support content creation, including photo and video shoots, as needed.
- Work with internal marketing team to integrate social media efforts with broader campaigns.
- Assist with other projects and tasks as required.

**Education & Experience**:

- College Diploma in Marketing, Digital Media or similar field.
- 3-5 years professional work experience in social media marketing or a digital marketing role, preferably within consumer goods or aspirational brands.
- General computer skills; must have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in social platforms, with expertise in Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok.
- Strong understanding of social media strategy, creative content development, and copywriting.
- Proven track record in planning and executing campaigns, with integration across multiple marketing channels.
- Experience in influencer marketing, user-generated content (UGC), and partner collaborations.
- Familiarity with social media monitoring and management tools (Hootsuite experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must have great interpersonal skills, team builder and team player; an ability to relate professionally within all levels of the organization.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information clearly.
- Is highly organized and detail oriented.
- Provides excellent customer service, is proactive and responsive.
- Is very comfortable in the online world, able to navigate complex software systems.
